Michael first discovered the art of mask‑making while living in Venice, where it reigns supreme as a traditional craft.

Since the dawn of civilization, masks have held meaning and purpose across cultures, and they continue to do so around the world today.

Most of his masks are characters born from his own imaginary world, though at times their real past lives intertwine with his fantasy.

They are objects to fall in love with — to wear, to inhabit, or simply to display within a space.

Each piece carries several paper tags, along with an alphanumeric reference, the year of creation, and Michael’s signature on the inside for authentication.
